How We Verify Lawyers
Verification is a document and identity-check process, not a guarantee of skill, conduct or case outcome. No lawyer profile is represented here as verified unless its checks have been completed and recorded.
1. Identity and enrolment
Match the advocate’s identity to their Bar Council enrolment certificate and check enrolment details with the issuing Bar Council or other available official source. Record the date and source of each check.
2. Court practice
Confirm the courts and locations in which the advocate says they practise. Do not treat a directory entry or self-description alone as proof.
3. Documents and status
Review identity and supporting documents directly with the applicant. Re-check where information is incomplete, inconsistent or cannot be independently corroborated.
4. Ongoing review
Keep a dated verification record and a channel for correction, suspension or removal requests. Re-check at intervals set by the platform before publication.
What a profile should show
A published profile should identify the advocate by name, Bar Council enrolment number, years of practice, courts, practice areas and languages. These details are not yet supplied for publication. We will not create sample or fictional lawyer profiles.

A verified contact channel for questions and correction requests is pending confirmation.
